The second season brings back the lead actors while expanding the supporting cast to introduce new conflicts and relationships.


The relationship between Dhaval Thakur and Sanchita Basu remains the emotional core of the JioHotstar Original. The actors ensured that the bond developed in the first season is sustained & at the same time develop their characters in the unfolding story line.

This JioHotstar web series narrates the story of Kuldeep and Shanvika who belong to different social classes with their relationship facing obstacles due to caste discrimination and family pressures, along with political influences.

The first season dealt mainly with their love story and personal sacrifices which they had to undergo. There were many unmet points in the season finale, thus raising expectations for the JioHotstar Series Season 2.

Season 2 picks up after the dramatic events of Season 1. This season takes place in the wake of tragic happenings at the end of Season 1 when the love story of Kuldeep and Shanvika was torn apart.

Being unable to forget about their painful experience, Kuldeep and Shanvika find themselves caught in the middle of a struggle for truth, life, and justice.

Following the death of her husband, Dushyant, Shanvika becomes an object of vengeance on the part of some political intrigues and family conflicts.

In turn, having experienced a lot of guilt about his previous actions towards Shanvika, Kuldeep ends up in guilt. Having experienced betrayal & corruption that have broken their lives, Kuldeep and Shanvika unite in their struggle against their enemies.

Unlike the first season of this series of JioHotstar that has been focused on the romantic story of the couple, the second one includes many more aspects including revenge, justice, political intrigues, family conflicts, & redemption.

Unlike the first season, which centered mainly on young love & heartbreak, Season 2 adopts a broader narrative.


These additions give the story a darker & more mature tone while preserving the emotional core that attracted audiences in the first place.

Episode 1: Naye Dushman ya Naye Dost?
Shanvika performs her husband Dushyant's last rites as Sitaarpur watches. On her journey home, she is ambushed, forcing her into a gun fight. Who is her new enemy?

Episode 2: Kunwar ki Ummid, Shanvika ki Chaal
Kuldeep is engulfed in guilt over Shanvika despite efforts made by Mala & Daddu to help him. A threat looming over them makes Shanvika do something strategic.

Episode 3: Bas Ek Mulakaat
Multiple attacks on Shanvika increase tension in Sitaarpur. While preparing herself for the war, Shanvika gets a shocking revelation that shakes her.

Episode 4: Kuldeep ka Prayashchit
Angad ends up caught in Shanvika's trap whereas Kuldeep is pushed to take a step due to the guilt. Due to political conspiracy, Shanvika finally agrees to meet Kuldeep.

Episode 5: Pyaar ka Nostalgia
Shanvika faces Kuldeep with a gun in her hand but her pain overpowers her rage. They tell each other about their losses and Kuldeep agrees to join her dangerous adventure.

Episode 6: Pushkar ki Jaan ko Khatra hai
Pushkar falls in danger at hospital, but Shanvika comes to rescue him. Angad shoots a corrupt doctor not knowing he is being spied upon.

Episode 7: Raajneeti par Pyaar Bhaari
Kunwar promises Shanvika that he will always be there for her but turns furious over the disappearance of Pushkar suspecting Daddu. Shanvika and Kuldeep have a heated argument as she confesses to killing Dr Vinay.

Episode 8: Shanvika ka Naya Rakshak
Shanvika is caught in an ambush but escapes from it as the shooter masks himself. Suspicious of the incident, Daddu asks Singh to get Mala back home and spy on Kuldeep."

While in Season 1, Kuldeep was mostly motivated by emotional considerations, Season 2 has Kuldeep portrayed as an individual who has to make a choice between his feelings & duty. In the scenes involving a confrontation within the family, Dhaval Thakur demonstrates a restrained performance style.

Sanchita Basu also receives a more layered character arc. Rather than serving only as the emotional centre of the story, Shanvika makes several independent decisions. This influences the narrative, making her role stronger than in the previous season.

Season 2 expands the story in several noticeable ways.

The screenplay moves at a measured pace. While some middle episodes spend considerable time developing characters. This slower approach allows important emotional moments later in the season to feel more meaningful.

One of the strengths of the series is its presentation of small-town North India.

The outdoor locations, production design, & costume choices contribute to an authentic atmosphere. The background score complements emotional scenes without becoming overly dramatic, while the cinematography effectively captures both intimate conversations & larger family confrontations.

If you enjoyed Season 1, the second season offers a natural continuation of the story while expanding its scope beyond romance.

Rather than repeating the same formula, the series introduces political conflict, family rivalries, & personal growth that make the narrative more layered. Although the pacing slows in a few places, the emotional performances and strong chemistry between the lead actors help maintain viewer interest.
